Fire x5, fire by friction, water, knife safety, shelter, Craft, debris shelters, Map and compass, nat nav
Day 1 Tarpology
You will learn various ways of erecting a tarp in order to sleep under it. The choice will be yours hammock or floor.
Day 2 Debris shelter
You will learn the fundamentals of building a debris shelter
You will learn how to use knife techniques and how to use knives safely ready for the following craft lesson
In this lesson you will be able to demonstrate your new knife skills by making an atl atl a bullroarer or a butter knife
Here we will go for a little walk and learn about natural navigation how to find your direction by just using what nature has supplied us with this will include a little plant identification and maybe a few animal tracks.
Day 3 Basic map and compass
You will learn how to use a map a compass and the 2 together. You will learn how to get from a to b, back again and how to find where you are if you get lost.
Fire by friction
Fire by friction is one of the 6 methods of lighting fire Here we will cover bow drill choosing the right woods and how to build your friction fire sets.
In this lesson you will learn how to find, filter and purify water enabling it safe to drink.
These are the 5 of the 6 methods of making fire, Solar, Compression, Electrical, Sparks and Chemical You will by the end of this lesson have the knowledge to make fire.
We will also be covering a little camp fire cooking in the evening.
Water Fire Shelter and finding your way home are of the utmost importance, by the end of this course you will be competent at all.
